About DebtPayoff.cc
Sonya built this educational calculator so her brother could see measurable payoff milestones in the browser, without creating an account or uploading statements.

Who publishes this site
DebtPayoff.cc is published by Sonya. She built the calculator to encourage her younger brother, who had just come out of debt, to keep going with numbers he could check: remaining balances, estimated payoff month, and the next extra payment.
The goal is a lawful, sustainable repayment habit—measurable progress instead of vague pep talks. Sonya is not a licensed financial advisor, lender, broker, or credit-repair company, and this site does not sell loans or debt-settlement services.
What this site does
The tool estimates snowball and avalanche payoff plans from balances, APRs, minimum payments, and extra monthly budget that you enter.
Guides explain the method, minimum-payment traps, extra-payment impact, and how to turn a statement into a plan you can review. Results are educational planning estimates, not individualized financial advice.
Privacy-first planning
The calculator runs in your browser. It does not require an account, upload your debt data, or store your plan on a server.
Results are simplified planning estimates and should be checked against your lender statements before making repayment decisions.
- 100% browser-local calculations
- No account
- No upload
- No server storage
How the calculator is built and checked
The calculator uses a published monthly estimation method: APR divided by 12, minimum payments first, and extra money assigned by the selected priority. Its limits are stated beside the results and in the methodology guide.
Automated tests check cent precision, payment conservation, strategy ordering, lump sums, impossible payoff scenarios, exports, and shared-plan validation. Published examples use the same engine as the interactive calculator.
Funding and editorial boundary
The site may display Google ads after publisher approval. Advertising does not determine calculator outputs, repayment priorities, examples, or editorial conclusions.
No lender pays to appear in the current calculator or guides. Any future commercial relationship must be labeled and kept separate from educational analysis.
